Objects and paintings effectively filed and/or exhibited taking the necessary measures to prevent deterioration can be preserved for years.

It is important to keep the works of art in adequate containers –protective enclosures, mounts, folders and filing boxes- fabricated from conservation quality materials, which reduce the negative impact of handling or inadequate environments, do not produce damaging chemicals, resist deterioration and provide protection and physical support. These containers should be especially designed in accordance with the specific necessities of the artwork and considering the place to be stored.

Among these containers, archival boxes and folders for storing drawings, etching paintings, documents, photos, contact sheets and negatives (both, in standard and special sizes), and archival books and other items storage boxes should be mentioned.
